You got it, Sony! Because ever since Feb 22nd, Feb 15th for lucky early adoptors, I've been having a blast with Sony's new handheld: PlayStation Vita. I can't tell you how frustrated I get at Dr.'s office waiting rooms, killing time while waiting on someone in my car, or just wanting to relax in my bed and only having my iPhone 4S to game on. Why? Because I've been hungery for some quality, immersive portable games that don't 100% rely on touch screen. A little over a month ago I spent a few days in the hospital. Killing some time playing Super Street Fighter IV and Secret of Mana (one of the best games ever!) got very annoying in such a short time because of the touch screen. This is where Sony nailed it. Sure, they have touch screen, which is good in moderation, but we also get the full console experience with dual thumb sticks!
Now, the launch games may not all be your poison. I chose to pick up WipEout 2048, much like how I picked up WipEout Pure during the original PSP launch, and have not regretted it. I've been a WipEout fan since the original PlayStation and Studio Liverpool have once again delivered the goods. I have since also purchased Super Stardust Delta and received a free copy of MotorStorm RC, complements of Scion. What's next on my list? Well, there's LittleBigPlanet and Resistance Burning Skies coming soon. Uncharted Golden Abyss is also another huge game that's out now. Then there's the wacky ModNation Racers Road Trip that's available. these are just a few games that I personally recommend. I'm still debating on spending more money I don't have on Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom. (yeah, I'm kinda broke right now. lol)
All that's left is PSone classics support. Sony, we need this like, yesterday! Also, full Remote Play with select PS3 games would be nice too!
